I am writing on behalf of Civix, a Brussels-based youth organisation. Together with our Croatian partner Udruga Prizma, and as part of the Erasmus+ project "Democracy for Youth: Empowering Active Citizenship", co-funded by the European Union, we have launched EU Values Through Eyes of Youth - an open call inviting young people aged 14–30 living in the EU to express what European values - democracy, freedom, equality, human dignity, rule of law, human rights - mean to them through visual art.

Participation is free, no artistic experience is required, and a smartphone photo of an artwork is enough - photography, illustration, drawing, painting, collage or poster, new or existing work. Selected artworks will be printed and exhibited in Brussels and Zadar this September and published in a digital booklet.

The deadline is 23 August 2026.
